J.D. McQueen
Co-Host of Greater Things with J.D. McQueen and Fr. Barry Cuba
As Director of Liturgy, J.D. McQueen, II, oversees the planning and celebration of the worship at [St. Theresa Catholic Church](st-theresa.org), which includes coordinating with clergy, church and school staff, and ministry leaders; scheduling and forming volunteers; and managing the vessels, vestments, and other elements necessary for parish liturgies.
J.D. is a cradle Episcopalian and grew up (almost literally) at the cathedral in Peoria, IL, where his father served as the organist and choirmaster. He studied music at Eureka College, and, after discerning a call to the priesthood, earned a Master's of Divinity at Nashotah House Theological Seminary near Milwaukee, WI. Following his ordination, he served as assistant pastor and then pastor of Our Lady of Grace Episcopal Church in Sheboygan, WI (2008-2012) and pastor of All Saints Episcopal Church in San Diego (2012-2017). While in San Diego, J.D. was drawn to the Catholic Church and was received into full communion at St. Theresa Catholic Church in 2017. He is married with children.
